Lesley-Ann Brandt was born in Cape Town, South Africa on 2 December 1981. Model and actress best known for her roles in television and in films. Brandt started her career in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with her character Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress's television credits include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians, and numerous other. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised in Cape Town in South Africa. She moved to Auckland with her family when she was in her late teens. The path she took to her career started as model in print as well as commercial advertisements. She worked as an IT recruitment consultant and in retail before becoming well-known as a fashion model. In 2009, she was a part-time actress as a character on a New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In the year 2021, her first major role came in the role of Naevia the slave girl in the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand. The character of Naevia was also reprised by her on the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker and she co-starred in three television shows, Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016 she started playing an elusive demon called Mazikeen in Lucifer, the Netflix hit show Lucifer. It is her largest role up to now. This show has her co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
