Anita Barone

Anita Barone is a versatile stage actor who's been mostly confined to TV sitcoms. Her first breakthrough in the medium as she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a season which aired on ABC between 1995 to 1996. Barone was on stage for the first time when she was the age of five in Detroit after her family relocated out of St Louis. Barone was a part of more than 50 plays by the age of 23, mostly in local theatres, as well as university productions. She played Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in a re-imagining of "Monday after the Miracle" and also the role as Agnes the young, gruesome the nun from "Agnes of the Gods." The actress made her screen debut by playing a minor role for the role of "The Rosary Murders" in "The Rozary Murders" (1987), had a bit in "Ricochet" (1991) as well as she was given a role as the lead actress on the indie romance comedy "Just Friends" (1996). Barone had her first notable Hollywood role as part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) - the ill-fated attempt by Carol Burnett in trying to revitalize the comedy sketch program.
